Seven mile ride with Tom at Harbison, then a 1 hr 7 mile run, also with Tom (he was on a bike).

Sloppy day at Harbison, and Lost Creek chewed up by a 4-wheeler. Stayed off the main trail and stuck mostly to gravel for 13 miles.

Beautiful clear night last night. ~30 miles at Fort Jackson. No moon, bright stars. Mid-50s.

50 mile out and back on the Silver Comet in Atlanta on Saturday. Successfully dodged thunder, lightning and rain on the way out, but not on the way back. A good day for fenders indeed.

1-2-12--Back from vacation. Two days on skis with the kid. Not the greatest snow, but way fun. Might have to start thinking of myself as a skier again. Been a long time. Plus a bonus walk down memory lane at my old boarding school and a Dartmouth hockey game.
